At Lugogo, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) paraded their new catch Steven Bengo who crossed from rivals SC Villa while Proline had Godfrey Walusimbi, who is here after failing to agree terms with his side Don Bosco from DR Congo was also a busy man in training.

Proline stepped up their training for the national league starting with gym work. For two weeks now, the team has been having sessions at the Centenary Park gym in Kampala. Mujib Kasule said gym work is the way to go in modern football.

"Players have been off season and their bodies need to first adjust. Gym work is one way of minimizing injuries," Kasule stated.

Proline, who finished 10th last season, havesigned two players so far with Walusimbi just training with them.

Silver Ochaya who has been on loan in Vietnam and Haidry Mubiru from the Luwero-based division one team Peacock FC are now Proline players.

Kasule said that most players have been elevated from their reserve side. The group has Hanny Hanson Asiimwe, Daniel Asiimwe, Robert Wasswa, Kennedy Yiga and Ivan Kato.

The club has agreed a loan arrangement with KCCA for striker William Wadri. Gift Ali has moved to KCCA.

The league will kick off on August 20 with SC Villa taking on KCCA FC at Nakivubo.
