Sunday Vision redesign: The home for innovations

With the redesign on June 28, Sunday Vision will have a platform for life-changing innovations.

The Innovations section will carry stories about new ideas, discoveries and products that improve users’ lives, while making the innovator wealthier.

The Sunday Vision editor, Dr. Charles Wendo, revealed that the innovations would include a diverse range of creations that affect all aspects of lives of Ugandans’ ranging from smart phone applications to agroprocessing

tools.

“We shall put more focus on new creations that can enable our readers make more money, save more of it and, most definitely, those that will help simplify their lives at work, home and environs,” he said.

The two-page section will also give a platform to many of our local innovators to showcase their creative works; something that should enable then earn from their efforts to make life better technologically.

Wendo encouraged readers to alert the Sunday Vision team about life-changing innovations in their areas by sending an email to sunday@newvision.co.ug.

The innovations may be from universities, schools, local workshops, communities, agricultural institutes, factories, laboratories and research centres or any other places with creative minds.
