The rugby Cranes and Uganda rugby fraternity at large finally can smile after getting back the Elgon Cup they surrendered to Kenya 'A' last year.


As anticipated it was a heated affair at Legends sports grounds; the Kenya lionesses who managed to retain their trophy this year assembled a heavier outfit.

Their girls this time round matched the Lady Cranes pound for pound, as evidenced in the narrow margin scores in both legs of the tournment.

Kenya A too packed a scrum that was heavier than the first leg; they were prepared coming into the second leg well knowing Uganda would, as was in the first leg, would go all out physical.
