This Father’s Day, Watoto Church is calling upon Ugandans to participate in a fun golf challenge, while transforming lives.

No matter your skill level, you can participate in the game. Golfers will participate as part of a 3-day, 3-city event for one cause.

Participating cities include Kampala, Uganda; Tampa, USA; and Vancouver, Canada.

Speaking to New Vision, Patricia Ochol said that professional golfers, businesses, churches, organisations and other groups are all invited to participate.

“When you join the Watoto Golf Challenge, you help make a difference in the lives of orphaned children and vulnerable women in Uganda.  As a Golfer, you can register as a team of 4 players. Play your heart out on 19 June 2015 and stand the chance to win BIG. Prizes include return air tickets, furniture, romantic dinners and vehicle accessories,” she said.

Ochol also noted that teams will participate for a fee of sh600,000 and individual registration can be done on request.

The Watoto Golf Challenge will culminate on Friday evening in an exclusive Grand Cocktail function, featuring the Watoto Children’s Choir at the Uganda Golf Club in Kololo.

Since it’s Father’s Day weekend, Watoto is encouraging wives and children to rally around their Fathers in a fun activity, with a good cause. All proceeds from the challenge go towards the care of orphaned children and vulnerable women in Watoto Child Care Ministries.
