President leaves for Nairobi ICGLR Conference

President Museveni is in Nairobi, Kenya to attend a two-day regional international conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR). The President is the current Chairman of the ICGLR.
 
Heads of State and Government leaders from ICGLR member countries are expected to attend. These include Angola, Burundi, Central African Republic, Congo (Brazzaville), the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania and Zambia.

According to State House, Museveni was seen off at Entebbe International Airport by the Presidency Minister, Frank Tumwebaze; the head of Public Service, John Mitala, Commander of Air Force, Major General Turyagyenda, and Assistant Commissioner for Prisons, Robert Munanura.
