General Salim Saleh is among the key speakers during this year's 10th graduation ceremony for Makerere University Business School (MUBS).

A total of 1182 students among which are 52 luzira inmates are graduating with postgraduate, undergraduate diplomas and certificates in various disciplines on 29 May, 2015 at MUBS playground.

Some of the disciplines included, business and entrepreneurship management.

Saleh will drive his address under the theme "creating employment and wealth through agriculture as a business".

MUBS Principal Waswa Balunywa said that the ceremony will be presided over by the Chancellor of Makerere University Prof. George Mondo Kagonyera, and would see the fourth class of inmates awarded certificates.

MUBS started the inmates programme in 2011 as a Social corporate Responsibility, which has encouraged more inmates in primary and secondary levels to work harder to reach these higher echelons of education.

"Majority of the Luzira inmates who have graduated on this programme have transformed from being society rejects to becoming useful citizens in the country", MUBS Principal, Prof. Wasswa Balunywa says.

MUBS Public relations officer, Peter Odoki said during the press briefing at the University that mobile phones, camera, gun rifles among others would not be allowed at the venue for security purpose.

Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, Patrick Onyango said that anti –terrorism police would man all the entrance and exit gates.

He urged the students and the public to cooperate with security organs during the occasion.
