The last he made a buzz was with his creation Fame In The Family, the first television show created by a Ugandan that ever featured on E! Entertainment Television, an American basic cable and satellite television channel.

The reality show followed the lives of Jamaican-American music sensation Sean Kingston and American rapper, actor, basketball player, entrepreneur and model Romeo Miller’s.

The show was a hit and he made a killing.

But that was two years ago. Hemdee Kiwanuka, a Uganda California-based promoter and singer Halima Namakula’s son, has since failed to book a Hollywood film so he decided to partner up with Chibuike Franklyn Omeaku aka Meaku a US-based Nigerian-American singer, songwriter, producer, actor, and humanitarian with the heartfelt mission to make beautiful music to help advance his career.

Through his company, Network Showbiz LLC, which among other things promotes and produces music and music videos, Hemdee has teamed up The Africans LLC, Meaku’s own company to promote the Nigerian-American’s new music.

To set off their new venture, Hemdee Kiwanuka and Meaku will release two brand new music videos.

One is for Meaku’s Afrobeat ballad Missing You directed by Tha Razor and the other for his radio hit On Tonight directed by Terry Taylor and Hemdee Kiwanuka himself.  On Tonight features Ben J of the American rap group New Boyz and rapper InkMonstarr for his US fans.

The Music Videos will be released on both Ugandan and African music channels such as NTV, WBS, MTV Base, Trace Urban and YouTube Vevo on May 12, 2015.

Their official release party codenamed  “A Night With Meaku: AfroBeat Meets RnBass” and hosted by VJ Kenny Umeh of MTV Base Africa and Wild Models Talent Agency’s Gigi Girma, will be held the same evening at The Federal Bar & Theater in Hollywood, California. It will be sponsored by Cooper 9 Clothing, and Ateliers Arthur Footwear.

Special viewing of Missing You and On Tonight will begin following dinner and the private screening of the independent short film The Hollywood Dream also starring Meaku and co-starring Hemdee Kiwanuka.

Notable Hollywood Indie- Film Director Stephen Durham directed the film.

Meaku has collaborated with Grammy Award winning and Billboard charted artists such as L.V. and Eric Bellinger. His mixtape Feel My World (2013) that garnered over 150,000 downloads, featuring his hit single Her Body, which charted at number 48 on the Independent Charts, solidifying him as an artist with immense star potential both collaboratively and independently.

Meaku also featured on Nigerian Superstar StormRex’s hit single American Boy (2014) and wrote Canadian Superstar Karl Wolf’s single Toronto Love (2015) proving the multi-talented Los Angeles-based artist’s musical talents as capable of reaching audiences around the world.

Having a strong following that stretches beyond the United States, Hemdee Kiwanuka believes that Meaku will take their companies Network Showbiz LLC and The Africans LLC to new heights.
