MAKERERE University students have launched a Yellow Saturday comprising of about 300 members determined to popularize the National Resistance Movement programs there.

“We advocate for peace, unity and prosperity for all,” said the chairman Sam Ninsiima.

“We are starting off in MUK before spreading to other universities spread across the country.”

He said the aim is to spread the NRM gospel and voice the achievements that go unsung.

Commenting on the ongoing xenophobic murders in South Africa, the Yellow Saturday member Edwin Kugyandyaira pointed out that it can happen in Uganda.

“If the leaders do not preach Pan Africanism,” said Kugyandyaira. “Our aim is to make the entire world a single village. It is time to mind what makes humanity better.”

Come every Saturday and the Yellow Saturday Movement members will do anything dressed in their colours and preaching the party’s gospel.
