He will be celebrating 20 years of success in the music industry. He is Uganda's unrivalled star in the arena of Jazz. He is Isiah Katumwa.

And to mark this milestone Katumwa is briging on board a jazz icon, South Africa's Hugh Ramopolo Masekela.

Ramopolo Masekela, a trumpeter, flugelhornist, cornetist, composer, and singer will be the guest performer at the event
slated for May 8, 2015 at Victoria Hall, Kampala Serena Hotel where jazz lovers will witness this master class of entertainment.

The jazz icon has over 40 albums to his name in a career that spans 50 years.

South Africa's turbulent history inspired a lot of Masekela's music, reflecting his life experience: a cocktail of agony, conflict, and exploitation during those difficult times.

Among his many honours is a 2002 BBC Radio Jazz Award where he won International Award of the Year.

Isiah Katumwa is not a man who needs much introduction. Labelled Uganda's Sax Wizard, he has made his mark on the music industry with quality, skill, creativity and professionalism, not only in jazz, but African music at large.

The self-taught saxophonist and Uganda’s jazz pioneer has eight albums to his name.
