Month long fete for Kabaka's 60th birthday

Celebrations to mark Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi’s 60th birthday will start a month earlier, the kingdom minister for information Dennis Walusimbi has said.

The climax of the celebrations will be held on April 13.

Among the activities to mark the day include the commissioning of Masengere building in Bulange Mengo. The building had stalled but the Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga mobilized resources from the Buganda loyalists for its completion.

Buganda minister for youths and sports, Henry Kiberu Ssekabembe said a charity run has been organized to raise funds for the fight against Fistula.
