Baza Holdings FC made amends for their first round shortfalls against Water FC by coming back to secure a 1-0 victory over those very opponents at Kawanda ground.

It was sweet revenge for Baza with Joseph Mutumba to thank for courtesy of his 17th minute strike that placed his side on course for an important victory.

They remained in full control of the game even into the second half.

Coach James Odochi made a double substitution a quarter-an-hour after the break. Innocent Kimera came on for Swaibu Kakwaya while Henry Mukwaya was introduced in place of Joseph Wasswa.

15 minutes later, Kassim Nsubuga substituted Collin Ganja in a lackluster game whose scoreline remained intact after the early goal.

And it remained unchanged until fulltime.

Coach James hailed his side for a crucial victory, saying the players stuck to the game plan and to his instructions – something that eventually earned them three points.
