THE Uganda U-19 cricket technical team believes that it has all that is required to snatch the only slot available for the 2014 U-19 Pepsi World Cup due to be hosted in Dubai.

Uganda secured the rights to host the qualifying tournament after the organisers shifted it from Kenya.

And according to team assistant coach John Trust Mayeku, home support could hand Uganda significant advantage in Group A that also includes Namibia, Zambia and Tanzania.

“The two weeks camp helped us so much. We have been improving in all the departments and we will take each game as it comes,” said Mayeku.

Nigeria and Botswana have already arrived.
