Ebonies boss Sam Bagenda aka Dr. Bbosa has agreed to a DNA test after a woman dragged him to court over child neglect.

Bagenda said because of the trickery of city girls he would not simply accept paternity of the child, but would now take a DNA test since the complainant, Joan Angel Ntege, dragged him to court.

He also noted that contrary to what Ntege was purporting, he had supported the child since birth.

Ntege said she was appalled that Bagenda would deny paternity of their daughter yet he started supporting her the moment he found out she was pregnant for him six years ago.

She said she was disappointed when Bagenda gave her just sh110,000 for delivery.

On delivery Bagenda did not go to hospital, but rather saw the child at his office at Theatre La Bonita where he named her Bagenda. Since then he has been providing child support, albeit not enough.

Ntege said the child who is now of school-going age and needs more support from her father.

The DNA test was to be carried out last Friday late afternoon following an agreement with Ntege’s lawyer, Martin Muhumuza, but did not happen because Bagenda was held up.

“I need to know the truth because I am not sure about that child; taking me to court appears like a ploy to extort money from me,” Bagenda said.

“I have old children who get hurt reading such things about me.”

“That woman Joan knows the truth even though she insists on saying I am the child’s father and even gave her my name Bagenda.”

Bagenda also said he was supporting the child only to protect his name.

“If indeed the tests prove the child is mine I will bring her home to her siblings,” he said.
