Ngora Siamese twins in good condition

The Siamese twins who are admitted on Thursday at Mulago National hospital are joined from the chest up to the abdomen. The female twins were born on 3rd May at Ngora private hospital.

The Siamese twins who were admitted on Thursday at Mulago National hospital are joined from the chest up to the abdomen.   The female twins were born on 3rd May at Ngora private hospital.  The babies are having only three legs.

Speaking to New Vision online the hospital’s spokes person Enock Kusasira said Adong and Apio are in good condition.

The twins were produced by a thirty three year old woman Faith Atim, who passed on after undergoing the operation, their father Misairi Akiror is looking after them. The twins are currently at the hospital's special care unit, they weigh 4.6 kilograms.  

This is the second pair of Siamese twins born in Ngora district.  The first pair of female twins born in this district died in January last year.
