Entebbe based rugby Club Sadolin Mongers hopes of winning this year's Nile Special Premier Rugby League suffered a big setback as they failed to secure wins against Buffaloes on Saturday.

Mongers that were second on the table standing are now relegated to third position with 26points after losing 17-13 to Toyota Buffaloes at Kyadondo rugby club while Rhinos are fourth after an 18-18 draw with Pirates.

Mongers team captain John Wandicho stated, "We would have won this game and stayed in the second position."

Mongers in the first round of the league managed to secure points from title rivals Heathens and Kobs with a draw and win respectively.

In the other games played Pirates settled for an 18 all with Ezee Money Rhinos at Legends Rugby Club.

Pirates coach Anthony Kinene blamed it all on discipline.

"We have a good team but we need to work on our discipline," Coach Kinene stated after the game.

The hot weather game saw referee stop the game for several water breaks.
