What transpired at the Tycoon party?

Last Friday South African 'nkuba kyeyo' and husband to city socialite Hassan Zari, Ivan Ssemwanga threw a tycoon party and strangely baptised himself 'Ivan Boss'.

The venue was Venom club in Kabalagala where our local celebs and their hungers-on stormed the place to rub shoulders
with the high and mighty of Kampala's social scene.

Ivan of course got to the bar early enough surrounded by a pack of hungry-looking celeb wannabes in the name of bouncers and settled at his table. Certainly this scene is never complete without the gorgeous wife Zari.

Ivan arrives with 'entourage'

Later in the night in waltzed Richie Katts, another 'nkuba kyeyo' based in Germay who is married to a native there - his source of disposable income. We are told when Katts espied Ivan, he halted his entry and called for back-up bouncers.

The two are said to have beef  over a very laughable matter. We are told last month while Rouge, a night spot on Kampala Road, Katts drew sh1m from his pocket and tossed it on his table.

The dime was meant to be given to comedians that were cracking up revelers in the bar.

Ivan is said to have been incensed by the gesture and drew sh1.8m and told Katts to 'shut it' because he was the true custodian of dime.

Katts is reported to have fled the bar and vanished into the night. tail tucked between his legs. Katts however claimed that Ivan  later asked the comedians to refund some of the money, a claim he has vehemently denied.  Since then Katts has contrued it as battle lines drawn.

Revelers enjoying themselves at Venom

Nothing of the sort however happened in Venom as Ivan just looked on and minded his business as Katts and his rugged crew of bouncers took a table nearby.

One thing though Katts does not match is the rib that Ivan always has by his side!
