It is over for big brother Africa Hotshots, and it has been the same old song. The winners always have to come from Nigeria, South Africa or Tanzania making the game so predictable.

Idris took home a 300,000$ grand prize after getting votes from 5 countries; his country Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Namibia and Rwanda.

The two Ugandan representatives Esther Akankwatsa, and Stellah Nantumbwe aka Ellah were both evicted before the grand finale. This proved Uganda has kept under performing in Africa’s biggest and most viewed reality show.

With Tanzania taking it the second time since its inception, and Nigeria being the hot steppers winning it three times, other winners have been Zambia, Namibia, South Africa, and Zimbabwe.

However much as some Ugandan representatives are to blame for failing to strategize in the game, others have given their all and fate has acted against them.

To some viewers, Ellah gave away the prize to Idris in broad day light when she got involved with him, this helped him conquer East Africa and hence win.

Uganda and Kenya have to wake up from their slumber.

They have long in the game been used by Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa where their representatives are found of leaving early to pave way for them to win.
