Kayihura reshuffles top police commanders

The Inspector General of Police, Maj Gen. Kale Kayihura has reshuffled top police commanders.

Forty three District Police Commanders have been aaffected in the changes which take immediate effect.

Robert Walugembe from Kiira Road Police station has been transferred to Ssembabule as DPC replaced by Assistant Superintendent of Police Alex Edunyu from Wandegeya police, Simon peter Wafana from Masaka has been transferred to the Field force unit.

The Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson Ibin Senkumbi said the transfers are normal deployment in the force.
