Tugume looks to defend national kickboxing title

National Kickboxing Super Middle weight champion Titus Tugume “The Hard Rock” has promised to crush daring Farouk Kimera on December 26 and retain the national title.

National Kickboxing Super Middle weight champion Titus Tugume “The Hard Rock” has promised to crush daring Farouk Kimera on December 26 (Boxing Day) and retain the national title.

The fight will be held at Rubaga Centre, former Wallet Pub II.

The UPDF kickboxer says he has enough experience to beat Kimera and retain his title. Kimera, however pointed that Tugume has been fighting boys and will be meeting a man in the ring this time round. “I will do the talking in the ring. I will retain the title,” said Tugume

Tugume beat Malik Kalisa the “Hitman” twice to win the national title mid this year in June.

Tugume won a bronze medal in Busan, South Korea during the WORLD 4TH TAFISA for all games (Trex-Games). He also won a silver medal in The World Combat League in Rimini, Italy and silver in the Oriental Games in Antalya Turkey.

Kimera is an experienced kickboxer with six fights, 1 loss and 2 knockouts.
