Are you in a relationship?

Proudly yes. I would not lie about that.

How serious is the relationship?

It is very serious, because my girlfriend’s parents flew in from Holland to see me.
Normally, the parents of a lady do not travel such a distance just to see the man dating their daughter, unless they take her relationship seriously. She introduced me to them some days ago. I am supposed to visit them this month.

So, who is this lucky girl and how did you meet?

She is  Willeke Westra and I met her five months ago at a business meeting, where I presented a paper.
We continued communicating weeks after and things seemed to be working in our favour.

What convinced you that she was the girl of your dreams?

If something is meant to work, you know it from the word go. I am not the type of man who would waste time on something my heart is not sure about. Five months down the road, I feel more serious and committed to the person I truly love. It is one way of learning to handle life. As a man, I have learnt to live with the consequences of the choices I make. You are a real man when you stand firm and face the reality.

You sound deeply in love, are you ready to marry this lady?

Yes, with all my heart, I am more than ready to marry her. When you have your lady’s parents’ blessing, then there is nothing that can stop you.

What traits do you look out for in a woman?

I consider discipline first then she must be beautiful, reasonable, understanding and hardworking.

If there is anything you would love to change in your life, what would it be?

Honestly, I would love to change what people think of me. Many people think I never listen and always act in a way that pleases me. The truth is I am an open-minded man.
