Kuwait investors to construct cement factory in Budaka

President Museveni is taking  the drive to economic boom by the horns like he preached in his last state of the nation address that the best times for the country lay ahead. 

Hardly a week after he returned from Sri Lanka and Thailand to preach the investment gospel, he has broken ground for the contruction of a cement factory that will be two times the size of Hima Cement Factory in Kasese. 

A Saudi Arabian company, DAO GROUP of Kuwait, will contruct the factory at Daka village in Budaka District. It will produce 5000 tons of cement daily.

The cement factory will provide 10,000 jobs direct and indrectly for Ugandans.
