The long-awaited fight between Uganda’s kick boxing champion Moses Golola and American Richard Abraham is finally here!


The two champions recorded their weights on Friday in Kampala. Golola weighed-in at 71kgs while Abraham posted 77kgs.

The two will be fighting for the intercontinental title currently held by Golola in a make-it-or-break-it contest at Speke Resort Munyonyo on Saturday.

Two-time world champion Richard Abraham has fought 45 times with 36 wins, 17 knockouts, has drawn once and registered two losses.

Golola in the other corner has 22 fights, 18 wins, 11 knockouts, one draw and three losses. Both fighters are upbeat ahead of the clash.

Over seven undercard fights are due to grace the main fight which will be staged in the wee hours.

The fight has been organized by Golola promotions, a company that the kick boxer runs.

Tickets for the fight range from 10,000 shillings, 50,000 and two million shillings for VIPS.
