From a small retail business, the Sekiddes have built Uganda's biggest hardware dealership on nothing but faith in God.

Lt. Col (rtd) Robert and Margaret Sekidde started by renting a corner in a small shop on Market Street in Kampala where they sold a few bags of cement, nails, locks and paint.

Fifteen years on, they run the biggest hardware dealership in the country and a multi-billion business estate comprising schools and real estate from a shopping mall in town to commercial buildings dotting Kampala’s several suburbs.
