Kiwanuka told the committee that her ministry directed the Auditor General to carry out an independent evaluation of how NSSF purchased shares in UMEME, alleged mismanagement of the Workers Fund and issues related to nepotism during recruitment of workers.

She said that this audit by the Auditor general will thoroughly dig out all the mess in the Fund.
