Tickets for the world title kickboxing fight between Ugandan fighter Ronald Mugula and Hungarian sensation Andras Nagy will be out next week.

The contest is slated for October 19 at Kyadondo rugby ground.

Alice Namatovu, who is behind the fight, announced the prices in Kampala on Tuesday.

The VIP section goes for sh120,000 while the lowest rate is sh15,000.

“We have decided to keep the ordinary ticket as low as possible so that loyal fans also enjoy the fight because they have been so supportive to us,” Namatovu explained.

Meanwhile Mugula’s Japanese trainers Ice Owa and Hitoshi Kimura have been impressed by his kick strength.

“He has a good and strong kick. All he needs is to work on his punch and a few drills to become a world champion,” Owa sounded confident during a practice session on last week at Mt. Zion Hotel gym near Kiseka Market in Kampala.

“He is a good fighter and I think our work will run smoothly and on time.”

Mugula, who is ranked 18th currently, will face Nagy on October 19 the rugby sports ground in Kampala.

Earlier, it had been communicated that the fight would take place at Kati Kati Restaurant. But the venue has since been changed.

Many Ugandan fans still remember Nagy for his skillful display against another Ugandan Moses Golola at Hotel Africana last year.

“All I want is to fight for Ugandans. Nagy has to lose here so that we get our revenge. The good thing is I am more experienced,” Mugula vowed.

Mugula has 58 fights with 47 wins, four losses and seven draws while Nagy has had 16 fights with three losses, two draws and 11 wins.
