The 13th edition of the Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Associations (FEASSSA) Games enter day two in Dar es Salaam with action in different disciplines.
The Games that attracted school teams from the seven members of FEASSSA — Rwanda, Kenya, Burundi, Uganda, Zanzibar, South Sudan and hosts Tanzania, started yesterday after all participants arrived in the host city the day before.
In today’s fixtures, Ugandan schools will compete in soccer, basketball, rugby, volleyball, handball, netball and hockey.
Uganda’s COPA Coca-Cola champions Kibuli SS will play their second group C game against ETG Bujumbura of Burundi.
Kibuli’s colleagues Mvara SS will take on Kenyan outfit Kakamega in the other match of the day.
In netball, Uganda and regional defending champions St. Mary’s Kitende will open their campaign against compatriots Kibuli SS in what promises to be a closely contested group A match.
Ugandan teams vowed to put up a decent performance in the annual show.
