After persistent complaints from Ugandan football fans about the short period they are allowed to access tickets for Uganda Cranes home matches, FUFA has decided to respond to their wish.

After persistent complaints from Ugandan football fans about the short period they are allowed to access tickets for Uganda Cranes home matches, FUFA has decided to respond to their wish.
 
The federation has announced that tickets for the Uganda Cranes game against Guinea will go on sale next Wednesday, August 20, 2014.
 
The match is expected to be played under floodlights at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on Wednesday 10 September, 2014.
 
FUFA finance director Decolas Kiza said that the tickets will be sold at sh20000 for open stand, sh50000 for the pavilion while sh120000 is for gold tickets at the usual selling points around the country.
 
Uganda Cranes are due to play five home and away matches in the Group E of the 2015 AFCON qualifiers against Ghana, Guinea and Togo between September and November.
 
Their first match is against Ghana in Kumasi on the weekend of September 6. Kiza noted that fans wishing to buy tickets for all the three Uganda Cranes home matches will part with sh50000 –a discount of sh10000.
 
The national coach Micho Sredojevic said that the three months could end Uganda’s 37 years wait to return to the Africa Nations Cup.
 
Uganda last took part in the 1978 Africa Nations Cup in Ghana where they lost to the hosts in the final 2−0.
