National Environment Management Authourity

1. The National Environment Management Authority has received funds from NORAD and wishes to allocate part of these funds for selection and employment of a consultant for REVIEWING THE NATIONAL ENVIRONMENT ACT AND DRAFTING PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE ACT, PROCUREMENT REFERENCE NO. NEMA/ SRVCS/12-13/00129

 2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of Consultancy Services for Reviewing the National Environment Act and Drafting Proposed Amendments to the Act.

 3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act 2003, and are open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

 4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 8.30am-5pm.

 5. Bidding Documents in English maybe obtained by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given below in No. (8)

 6. There shall be a pre – bid meeting. It will take place on Friday, 28th September 2012 at 2.30pm

 7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10am on 24th October 2012. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address given below at 10.15am on 24^th October 2012

 8. The address for inspection of documents, issue of documents, delivery of documents and bid opening shall be:
