Kiprotich, Uganda’s first Olympic champion in 40 years will be rewarded at a grand function at the Group's headquarters in Kampala.

“We have collected sh257m in cash and over sh100m in kind. All this will be handed over to Kiprotich,” said Susan Nsibirwa, the Head of Marketing Vision Group.

Vision Group’s chief executive Robert Kabushanga launched the campaign immediately after Kiprotich raced to a gold medal in the Olympic marathon on August 12.
