Bobi Wine showcases DMC boat

AT the rate at which things are going, ghetto president Bobi Wine might as well come out and tell us the truth about the machines he buys.

AT the rate at which things are going, ghetto president Bobi Wine might as well come out and tell us the truth about the machines he buys.

A few years ago, he imported a Cardillac Escalade, which wowed many Ugandans and left them drooling whenever he drove past them in his monster.

However, a while later, it turned out that the machine was a DMC piece of scrap, whose bumper, tyres, side mirrors and other parts, kept falling off and had to be welded back together over and over.

Now just early this week, there were reports that yours truly Mr. Bobi had acquired a brand new sh400m boat, which he took for a test cruise.

Well, one thing is for sure, he could have got himself a boat, but whether it is brand new, raises eyebrows.

Our informers deployed around Lake Victoria say the boat could be in the same class as the Escalade. Just last Saturday, an informer took a closer look and discovered that the boat is in a worrying state.

Apparently, it is badly rusted at the bottom and, unless it is taken to Katwe for welding, its life span on the lake will not be more than two months.

Aside from the rust, there is also a thick layer of algae growing on the boat, which means it has been around for quite a while. Over to you, ghetto president, don’t say  we did not warn you.
