IN the world of sport, it is time to vote for one’s country as the Olympic Games get underway in London this month.

According to Biggie, that’s why he tasked the housemates to show some love for their nations and Africa in general.

Biggie began off by summoning all nine housemates to the garden yesterday morning, all with their national flags in hand, and asking them to start singing their national anthems.

Ugandans Kyle and Jannette proudly sang Oh Uganda, the Land of Beauty. Then when it seemed like the national anthem task was done with, Biggie informed the housemates that for their weekly Thursday evening presentation task each of the m would have to once again sing his/her national anthem, as well as give a three minute speech about a billion reasons why they believe in Africa Jannette then gave her own twist to the task by declaring that she would actually sing two anthems, that of her kingdom (Buganda) as well as that of the entire country of Uganda.

And interestingly, Kyle who doesn’t come from Buganda also liked Jannette’s suggestion to sing both the Buganda and Uganda anthems, and vowed that he would join her in singing the two anthems.

Kyle even promised Jannette to beat her at singing the Buganda anthem. However, by the time this page went to print the housemates hadn’t yet made their anthem-singing and Africa-exalting presentations, so it was yet to be seen how Kyle and Jannette went about singing the two anthems.

Meanwhile in other news, on Wednesday evening Kenyan rapper Prezzo worried his fans and pleased his haters as he hinted that he was to soon ask for a voluntary exit.

The Kenyan pointed to feeling very isolated, lonely and unwanted in the house as the reasons he was planning to bow out of the race for the $300,000 jackpot.

However, by yesterday late afternoon he did not show any signs of planning to quit and was spiritedly preparing for the National Anthemsinging task with his fellow countryman, Alex.
