He reaps from sowing in others' companies

Dr. Martin Jerome Okech Aliker is a distinguished professional and businessman by any standards. He set up the first black-owned dental practice in Kampala and has also been investing in Uganda’s white-collar businesses since 1961.

Over time, through his holding company, Gimoro Limited, he has acquired sizeable or controlling stakes in top lucrative companies like Uganda Breweries Limited, Stanbic Bank, National Insurance Corporation and Nation Media Group, among others, making him one of the richest men in Uganda.
