Peter Miles: Cleo or Juliana?

Jun 01, 2012

Wow! Hi pretty. Nice spects. Trust me if I didn’t find you pretty, I would have responded with a plain hi.

Q: Hi Handsome.
Wow! Hi pretty. Nice spects. Trust me if I didn’t find you pretty, I would have responded with a plain hi.

Q: These days you look flabby. Who is doing this to you?
I travel a lot and sometimes diet changes. But I am not complaining because all the ladies like my new look. Besides, I am growing.

Q: You need to sort this issue out. Between Juliana and Cleopatra whom are you crushing for?
When you called me, I definitely knew that question would pop up. Well, those two are my best female friends. I have known them for over 15 years. People just wish I was dating one. When I am down or having troubles in my life, the first person to call is Juliana or Cleopatra. But since I am single and I have these two special friends you never know where we shall end up.

Q: Since you are single, who is your ideal woman?
She has to be a friend, beautiful, slender, and down-to-earth and should be able to understand the kind of work I do. Meaning, she will not feel bad when my fans hug or peck me.

Q: I understand you are a ladies man; would you cheat on your wife if you were married?
I am a Muganda and I respect my culture so much. If I marry a wife and she produces only girls, I would look for someone else to give me a baby boy. If the Kabaka did it, who am I to disobey? Besides, where I come from, most men cheat and it is okay because we are men.

Q: We have just had a battle of champions, how do you rank yourself? Are you a champion or just a follower?
If you asked someone in Germany to tell you the champion in the Ugandan music industry, they would say Peter Miles. I am international. I have been on stage with most of the big wigs in Jamaica. It is now you people to rank me but as far as I know, I am up there.

Q: Whenever you step on stage, you have to mention the word Bomboclat. Since you spend most of your time in Jamaica, what does it mean?
Bomboclat is a Jamaican expression used to express shock, surprise or may be used to curse someone out. But most people in Uganda just use it for swag. They have no idea what it means.

Q: Do you know any misconception people have about you?
The media has portrayed me as someone who likes women. Guys, I have taste. I do not fall for anything in a skirt. I love hanging out with pretty women but I don’t bed them.
