URA FC head coach Alex Isabirye is a disturbed man ahead of his side’s Bell Uganda Cup final against Bunamwaya today.

The youthful tactician is struggling to come to terms with the possibility of playing the sh12m-worth final at Pece Stadium without injured first team players captain Manco Kaweesa (thigh), central defenders Sam Mubiru (thigh), Lawrence Segawa (joint) and winger Vincent Kayizzi (crack).

The four will be replaced by Said Kyeyune, Sam Senkoomi, Allan Munaaba and Benson Ociti respectively.

Isabirye has already stated how excited he is to have a change of venue for this year’s final.

“Playing the final in Gulu has relieved my team from the physical and psychological pressures that flare from Kampala football fans,” he said on Friday.

URA will make their fourth Cup final since 2005 when they beat KCC FC 2-1 despite losing subsquent finals with similar margins against SC Villa in 2009 and 2011.

Their opponents Bunamwaya are making their debut in the final.

With the league title out of their sight, Bunamwaya are looking at the lucrative competition as their only hope for silverware this season.

Although Bunamwaya march into the final with no injury problems, they will head into the game on the back of dismal results following their Super League defeats to Water and Simba FC.

Bunamwaya will look to former URA striker Martin muwanga and Tony Odur for goals.

Last year’s cup winners Simba were knocked out of the tournament.
