A case file for the interdicted city director for physical planning George Agaba and his body guard Santos Komakech has been sent back to the Director of Public Prosecution for scrutiny.

This is the third time court postpones the mentioning of the case.

State prosecutor, Joseph Baige Wednesday told Nakawa Court Magistrate Esther Nabanyo that the file was submitted to the DPP’s office. Both Agaba and Komakech appeared in her office room.

“The original file was submitted to DPP and we are waiting for further instructions,”Baige explained.

Agaba’s bodyguard shot and killed one person during a demolition exercise in Luzira in January this year.

A man was killed and a woman sustained injuries in the chaos that ensued when the evictees turned against the KCCA officials in protest.

Komakech was seen shooting live bullets in the direction of the locals.

Some residents accused Agaba of having a personal interest in the land they were being evicted from.
