White is the new black

 

I said it! White is the new black. Well, not really, but we are saying goodbye to the ever-so-safe little black dress and embracing the little white dress this year.

 

You are thinking that there is so much that could go wrong when wearing white, but when done right, it can be just as flattering as black. It is, certainly, more attention grabbing. The little white dress is not only simple, but fresh and bright, making you look younger and innocent.

 

Find a dress that is form-fitting

 

Wear black or dark underwear that will not be seen through the dress. White underwear is a no-no.

 

Have fun with the accessories and go big with colour and size. Do not dare wear white shoes or carry a white purse.

 

Avoid wearing the little white dress to a funeral or wedding. You do no want to upstage the bride and certainly, you do not need such attention at a funeral. 

 

Make sure it is not see-through.

 

Keep a suitable length for the occasion. 

 

You do not have to say farewell to your little black dress, but this is one trend you might want to add to your wardrobe this year, if you feel bold enough.
