<b>Leopards invade village</b><br>AMURIA - The Uganda Wildlife Authority has dispatched game rangers to capture leopards which have invaded the area.

AMURIA - The Uganda Wildlife Authority has dispatched game rangers to capture leopards which have invaded the area. The leopards last week killed five dogs and seriously injured an old woman in Amilimil,Kuju sub-county. The woman identified as Avergilina Apero was reportedly trying to rescue her dog from a leopard. Apero was admitted to Amuria Health Centre IV with deep cuts on her body.

Officer held over bribe

JINJA - A records officer at the district magistrates court has been arrested for receiving a bribe. Bwire Ssali reportedly solicited sh500,000 from John Epugot, a resident of Bugiri claiming it would be taken to the director of public prosecutions to have criminal charges against his son dropped.
