Army kills two Karamoja warriors

THE army has killed two warriors since the start of operation ‘Restore Order’ in Karamoja sub-region early this month. UPDF 3rd Division spokesperson Capt. Henry Obbo recently said they had recovered seven guns.

THE army has killed two warriors since the start of operation ‘Restore Order’ in Karamoja sub-region early this month.

UPDF 3rd Division spokesperson Capt. Henry Obbo recently said they had recovered seven guns.

Obbo also disclosed that the army was using a helicopter to help them recover stolen animals.

The army launched the operation after Jie warriors intensified cattle raids against their neighbours.

Obbo explained that using the helicopter, the army recovered about 3,109 animals belonging to the Dodoth in Kaabong.
