THE Civil Aviation Authority is to construct a canopy over the road toll at the Entebbe International Airport, reports Vision Reporter.
“We want to provide these facilities to protected people from weather vagaries,†Ignie Igunduura, the head of public affairs, said.
The canopy will cover the roads going and coming from the airport. It will start at the airport’s main gate, at the check-point. Igunduura said although it was not the main purpose, the canopy would improve on the appearance of the airport.
He said the aviation body was seeking for a consultant to carry out the work. Bidding shall be done in accordance with the Government procurement guidelines of 2003.
