Ssalongo Kasawuli, the proprietor of Samona Products, makers of the popular Samona jelly, must curse the day he decided to drag local kadongokamu singer, Mathias Walukagga, to court!

Kasawuli, who attended Bukedde FM’s grand music show, ‘Embuutu Y’embuutikizzi’ last Sunday was invited to say hello to the revellers. He had bought 10,000 copies of Bukedde newspaper, to be distributed to revelers at the entrance.

Unfortunately, Kasawuli got on stage immediately after Walukagga’s performance. As he waved, the angry crowd instead heckled and insulted him. When he turned to leave the stage, angry revellers threw water bottles and mud at him.

Walukagga had earlier on refused to perform Katulepukke and Bwino, the songs Samona had a problem with, explaining that court had barred him from performing them in public. Fans were clearly not amused.

Last year, we reported on this page about how the businessman took Walukagga to court over what he claimed was a defamatory song following their verbal fights over Samona’s wife (Walukagga’s ex-girlfriend).
