FDC supports Nambooze for Mukono seat

THE Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) candidate in the Mukono north by-elections, Moses Bakubi Lukubira has stepped down in favour of Democratic Party’s Betty Nambooze.

THE Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) candidate in the Mukono north by-elections, Moses Bakubi Lukubira has stepped down in favour of Democratic Party’s Betty Nambooze.
FDC president Dr. Kizza Besigye made the announcement to journalists at the Crane Paradise Hotel in Mukono town on Saturday.
The seat fell vacant after National Resistance Movement’s Bakaluba Mukasa lost a petition in the Supreme Court over election malpractice.
Bakaluba and Nambooze, were among the 10 people nominated last week to campaign for the seat.
