Pader lacks clean water
PADER-Over 5,600 former internally displaced persons in 13 villages in Lira-Palwo sub-county lack clean water. The most affected villages are Loc-Ken with 346 people, Beyo-Ajoka with over 250 people, Alone-North with 401 people and Bi-Wang Central with over 600 people. Lira-Palwo LC3 chairperson Micah Okidi Larum said residents of Bi-Wang share one borehole, which is over-worked and sometimes breaks down.

IDPs to get tree seedlings
GULU-The National Forestry Authority (NFA) will distribute 120,000 tree seedlings to formerly displaced persons. The regional NFA manager, Aldo Obedmoth, made the disclosure last week while handing over 6,000 seedlings of pine, eucalyptus and mahogany to Green Dwellings, a community-based organisation, at Purongo sub-county.
