THE Buganda Queen, Nabagereka Sylvia Nagginda, has warned girls against engaging in cross-generational sex. “This has jeopardised the future of many girls at university and secondary schools. It has cost them their future,” the Nabagereka said.

“You need to have confidence and self-esteem and make choices to follow through with your dream and not be tempted.” She explained that peer pressure lures girls into sex with older men.

Nagginda appealed to the youth to desist from early sex, drug abuse, stealing and corruption, among other vices. She was addressing students of Gayaza Junior and Gayaza High School during the schools’ annual day.

The Nabagereka handed over prizes to five Old Girls who were recognised for their distinguished service. They were professors Lillian Tibatemwa Ekirikubinza, Mayanja Kizza, Ruth Mukama, Joyce Kikafunda and Joy Kwesiga.

The Uganda Revenue Authority Commissioner General, Allen Kagina, also got an award for outstanding service to Uganda.
