Please support talented gospel artistes

I wish to express my displeasure with the current status of our local gospel artistes.

You will agree with me that through their edifying music, the gospel artistes have inspired and taught many people.

Unfortunately, the same artistes don’t get the due moral and financial support they deserve to carry on their ministry. Many of these talented artistes have ended up leaving the country.

I am saddened to learn that even Grace Morgan has also gone for greener pastures.

Morgan has sung and written many great secular and gospel songs through which he has influenced the lives of many people.

He also touched the hearts of many people through his charitable works and commitment towards vulnerable children.

Now his charitable homes are devastated. The children he was looking after have lost guardianship, following his mother’s relocation to Kenya. I appeal to the public to support our gospel artistes.

Born-again Christians should take the lead in this.

Corporate companies should also consider sponsoring soul artistes just as they do for secular artistes.
