BREAKING news…Uti’s father has died. Big Brother broke the news to the Nigerian housemate Monday afternoon during the contestant’s diary session. Over the last three weeks, Uti has on several occasions isolated himself and got deeply engrossed in thought.

BREAKING news…Uti’s father has died. Big Brother broke the news to the Nigerian housemate Monday afternoon during the contestant’s diary session. Over the last three weeks, Uti has on several occasions isolated himself and got deeply engrossed in thought.
In fact, Kenya’s Sheila at one point got concerned and dug deeper, at which point Uti told her his father was bed-ridden, suffering from cancer. During one of her diary sessions, Sheila asked Africa to pray for Uti’s dad.
Uti has been wondering whether he made the right choice leaving his father ailing and going to the Big Brother house. Now that the old man has passed away, he might never forgive himself for not being there. Right now he is so distraught and by press time, he hadn’t made up his mind on whether to leave the house and go for burial or stay and play the game till end.
But his housemates think he should not go because his father allowed him to go to the house and try his luck on winning the $180,000 jackpot.
Hannington, Sammi and their new barn-mate, Lerato, who got evicted from the main house on Sunday, only watched on TV while the rest of the housemates mourned.
Yesterday, Hannington told Big Brother he was considering going for burial because he and Uti were close while he was in the main house.
Meanwhile, the nomination results are in, and the New Vision tomorrow will update you on who is up for possible eviction.
