Cyclists hung on to finish

UGANDAN cyclists hung on to finish the respective men and women competitions here in New Delhi yesterday. It was a better result after Sunday's women 112km and men 168km when they all failed to come back to the finishing point.

UGANDAN cyclists hung on to finish the respective men and women competitions here in New Delhi yesterday. It was a better result after Sunday's women 112km and men 168km when they all failed to come back to the finishing point.
Though coming home 12 minutes after the winners had crossed the finishing line, the cyclists remained positive that with better equipment and exposure, they will be able to improve on their performance in future.
David Matovu, was the best performer, coming home in 51 position.
