We asked for your views on what organisations should do to improve the working environment and boost employees’ morale, today we bring you some of your responses

Dear Editor,
THE first step begins with the employers valuing the workers. Many firms take employees for guaranteed. If one leaves, another can be found to take their place without much trouble on their part, they brag.

It is also important to let people know they are appreciated. Encourage communication between employees and management.

Doing so will allow employees to feel comfortable to voice their opinions and make suggestions to improve conditions and work. Make sure the values and ethics of the company are of those employees can take pride in.

Dear Editor,
Create a conducive environment at work that is free free from noise so as to enable the workers perform at their best.

Motivation. To keep the fire burning, the workers should be given incentives and other benefits like allowance in order to raise their moral.

Workers should be paid salaries that are commensurate to the work they do. Exploiting workers creates discontent, which eventually disrupts work.
There should also be proper role description.

The roles to be performed by the workers should be clearly defined to avoid clashes among them.
