Woman held on child theft

KAMPALA — A woman who is suspected to have stolen her friend’s baby to impress her lover, was arrested on Thursday. It is alleged that Grace Mundua, 20, of Kisalosalo parish, stole the baby from Deborah Zawedde on January 1, at Old Mulago. Kawempe division Police chief Erasmus Elodu said he suspected that Mundua was pushed into stealing the baby, after she failed to conceive by her lover identified as Ocaya.
