MAKERERE University will on Saturday host the Federation of Uganda Basketball Association (FUBA) workshop. FUBA secretary Penina Kabenge told The New Vision that the workshop will mark the beggining of the new season. “It is a great opportunity hosting such a workshop which marks the beginning of the league,” Kabenge said.

Micho wants
SC VILLA’s Yugoslav tactician Srejedovic Micho has urged the club’s top executive to offer on-form Alex Isabirye a contract that will keep him at Villa Park for life. “I would like to see us get as many years from Alex. He will need a bit of luck in terms of injuries. He is such a clever player,” Micho said.

Bafana game
FUFA is in the final stages of contacting South African Football Association (SAFA) in a bid for the Cranes to play a friendly build up match with Bafana Bafana on March 9. FUFA vice President Technical John Baptist Semanobe revealed this at a party organised to give players their bonus money for winning the Ghana tie.

Mbale CAO
The Eastern Region Football association (EFA) has secured office space courtesy of Mbale chief administrative officer (CAO). George William Wopuwa allocated the offices located in Mbale Regional office block in a letter addressed to EFA executive committee headed by Crispus Muyinda.
