A securiko man’s legs broken and another person was slightly injured in an accident involving three commuter taxis.

The incident took place on Kutch road at Iganga stage in Jinja at about 6:00pm on Thursday.

The Jinja traffic boss, Daniel Zeba, said the accident was caused by a Uganda Taxi Operators and Drivers Association (UTODA) official, Deo Kato, who grabbed Livingstone Kizito off the steering wheel of a Toyota Hiace registration no. UAD 645N.

He was reportedly trying to stop him from loading passengers outside the park. Zeba said the driver lost control and collided with two other taxis that were parked on Kutch road.

The Securiko man, who could not be immediately identified, was rushed to Jinja Hospital.
